About Mission Resolve Foundation: Restoring and Protecting the Ocean For Future Generations
Mission Resolve Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to restoring and protecting the ocean for future generations. Our foundation was established with a mission to prioritize education, restoration, and humanitarian efforts to make a meaningful and lasting difference in ocean health and the communities that depend on it.
Joseph Farrell Jr. Founder
The Mission Resolve Foundation was established by Joseph Farrell Jr., the President and Founder of Resolve Marine, the global leader in maritime emergency response and wreck removal. Farrell's childhood in Massachusetts and his father's World War II service instilled in him a drive to make a positive impact within the world, and utilized the organization he founded, Resolve Marine to do so.
Resolve's resources were used for environmental, educational, and humanitarian assistance, including pollution cleanup, removal of vessels to impacted ports, disaster relief, and contributions to marine conservation efforts. Over time, Farrell recognized the need for a formal approach to philanthropy and founded Mission Resolve, the non-profit organization focused on bringing experts and organizations together from around the world to collaborate on solutions for humanitarian, environmental, and educational challenges.
Farrell's personal mission and his company's mission of leaving the world a better place are the inspiration for the Mission Resolve Foundation. His passion for the ocean and his experiences throughout his career have shaped his commitment to making a positive impact in the world.
